নিজস্ব প্রতিবেদন: করোনা আবহের জেরে সোমবার পশ্চিমবঙ্গের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের সুরক্ষার কথা মাথায় রেখে মাধ্যমিক ও উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক পরীক্ষা বাতিল করেন।পরীক্ষা বাতিল হয়ে যাওয়ার কারণে অবসাদে আত্মঘাতী হল কোচবিহারের দিনহাটার মেধাবী ছাত্রী।
করোনার কারনে বাতিল হয়েছে তার জীবনের প্রথম বড়ো পরীক্ষা।তার জেরেই অবসাদে ভুগতে থাকে কোচবিহারের দিনহাটার গোপালনগর হাইস্কুলের মেধাবী ছাত্রী বর্ণালী বর্মন। মঙ্গলবার সকালে সেই ছাত্রীর ঘর থেকে উদ্ধার হয় তার ঝুলন্ত দেহ।
সূত্রের খবর অনুযায়ী, সেই ছাত্রীর বাড়ি কোচবিহারের দিনহাটার আটিয়াবাড়ি আম্বালি বাজারে।তার বয়স ছিল মাত্র ১৬ বছর। এই বছর তার মাধ্যমিক পরীক্ষা দেওয়ার কথা ছিল। দিনরাত পড়াশোনা করে নিজেকে পরীক্ষার জন্য প্রস্তুত করেছিল। পরীক্ষায় ভাল ফল করে এবং তারপর সে জীবনে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়ে বাবার পাশে দাঁড়াতে চেয়েছিল। কিন্তু সোমবার করোনাপরিস্থিতি বিবেচনা করে মাধ্যমিক ও উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক পরীক্ষা বাতিল করা হয়। ছাত্রীর পরিবারের দাবি, এই খবর পাওয়া মাত্রই বর্ণালী অবসাদে ভুগতে থাকে। সকলের সঙ্গে থাকলেও কারও সঙ্গে বিশেষ কথা বলছিল না সে। সোমবার রাতে খাওয়ার সময় পরিবারের সদস্যরা ডাকাডাকি করেও বর্ণালীর সাড়া না পাওয়ায় তাঁরা দরজা ভেঙে ভেতরে ঢোকে। তখনই তারা বর্ণালীর ঝুলন্ত দেহ দেখতে পায়। থানায় খবর দেওয়া হলে ঘটনাস্থলে গিয়ে নাবালিকার দেহটি উদ্ধার করে পুলিশ এবং ময়নাতদন্তের জন্য পাঠিয়ে দেয়।
পুলিশ সূত্রে জানা গিয়েছে, দেহের পাশ থেকে একটি নোট উদ্ধার হয়েছে। সেখানে লাল কালিতে লেখা রয়েছে, ”তোমার সব কাজের দায়িত্ব নিতে পারলাম না বাবা।”

According to sources, the student’s home is in Atiabari Ambali Bazar, Dinhata, Kochbihar. She was only 18 years old. She was scheduled to take her secondary exams this year. He studied day and night and prepared himself for the test. He did well in the exams and then he wanted to stand by his father’s side. But considering the coroner’s situation on Monday, the secondary and higher secondary examinations were canceled. The student’s family claims that as soon as they get this news, they start suffering from spectral depression. Although he was with everyone, he was not talking to anyone. During the meal on Monday night, the family members shouted but did not get any response from Barnali, so they broke down the door and entered. That’s when they see the hanging body of the spectrum. When the police station was informed, they went to the spot, recovered the body of the minor and sent it for police and autopsy.
Police sources said a note was recovered from the side of the body. It says in red ink, “I couldn’t take care of all your work, Dad.”
