স্টাফ রিপোর্টার, ঝাড়গ্রাম: ধোবাশোল-প্রহরাজপুর গ্রামের রাস্তা। দীর্ঘ ১০ বছর রাস্তা মেরামতের কোন উদ্যোগ নেই। বর্ষা এলেই জল থৈ থৈ এলাকায়। তবু হেলদোল নেই প্রশাসনের। বিপাকে পথচারীরা। ঝাড়গ্রাম জেলার সাঁকরাইল ব্লকের প্রহরাজপুর থেকে ধোবাশোল পাঁচ কিমি এই রাস্তার বেহাল অবস্থায় অতিষ্ঠ জনজীবন। দীর্ঘ ১০ বছর ধরে রাস্তা মেরামত না হওয়ায় প্রতিবছর একটু বৃষ্টি হলেই এই রাস্তায় জল জমে। ফলে অসুবিধায় পড়তে হয় পথযাত্রী থেকে বাইক, যানবাহন আরোহীদের। রাস্তার জরাজীর্ণ অবস্থার পরও ভ্রুকুটি নেই প্রশাসনের। এমনই অভিযোগ স্থানীয় বাসিন্দাদের। একটি উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক স্কুল, স্বাস্থ্য কেন্দ্র, বিডিও অফিস, পঞ্চায়েত অফিস নানা কাজে যাওয়ার রাস্তায় বিরাট বিরাট গর্ত, আর বর্ষায় জলমগ্ন সেই গর্তগুলিই। তাই প্রতিনিয়ত যাতায়াত বিপন্ন হচ্ছে গ্রামবাসীদের। স্থানীয়দের অভিযোগ, গত ১০ বছরে রাস্তা সংস্কারের দাবি করা হলেও কাজের কাজ কিছুই হয়নি। শুধু মিলছে আশ্বাস, বাস্তব রূপান্তর ঘটেনি সেই আশ্বাসের। চলতি বছরেও গরমকাল কেটে গিয়ে বর্ষার আগমন ঘটেছে রাজ্যে। এখনো পর্যন্ত রাস্তার উন্নয়নের জন্য কোন উচ্চবাচ্য করেনি প্রশাসন। এলাকাবাসীদের আরও অভিযোগ, রাস্তা মেরামতির জন্য বিডিও অফিসের বিডিওর দপ্তরের ডেপুটেশন দেওয়া হয়েছে কিন্তু কোনভাবে সাড়া পাওয়া যায়নি প্রশাসনিক দপ্তরের পক্ষ থেকে। চরম ক্ষুব্ধ সাধারণ মানুষ। এবার ঘটলো সেই ক্ষুব্ধতার বহিঃপ্রকাশ! ২৪ জুন (বৃহস্পতিবার) ৮-১০ টি গ্রামের মানুষ একত্রিত হয়ে প্রহরাজপুর এলাকায় ব্যারিকেড দিয়ে রাস্তা অবরোধ করে। দফায় দফায় শুরু হয়েছে বিক্ষোভ প্রদর্শন। পথ অবরোধ হওয়ায় বহু যানবাহন রাস্তার উপর আটকে পড়েছে। এই অবরোধে বহু সাধারণ মানুষ বিপাকে পড়েছে। পথ অবরোধ তুলতে ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছায় সাঁকরাইল থানার পুলিশ ও ব্লক প্রশাসনের আধিকারিকরা। এখনও পর্যন্ত ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছাননি সাঁকরাইল ব্লকের বিডিও। গ্রামবাসীদের দাবি, বিডিও সাহেবকে ঘটনাস্থলে উপস্থিত হতে হবে; এবং ওনাকে লিখিত দিতে হবে কত দিনের মধ্যে রাস্তার কাজ শুরু হচ্ছে! ক্রমশ উত্তপ্ত হচ্ছে পরিস্থিতি। এই ঘটনার জেরে কি নড়ে চড়ে বসবে প্রশাসন? এবার সেটাই দেখার।
